As a photographer, the general rule of thumb is to have a camera with you at all times. This selection of skys and landscapes were all taken outside Keylight House and were inspired by the quick changing colours of the sun setting. A window of approx. 5 minutes was all that was available, before the sun had gone in for the night.

As your Photographer begins at the Bride’s preparation location, you can now book to have use of the Keylight Mercedes 190 E-Class Wedding Car. A classic 21 year old car in full and original, immaculate condition (previously used for this purpose). It features an automatic transmission for a smooth journey. Traditional Wedding ribbons are included to match your colour scheme. Any other decorations you might like , can be added, such as flowers, bows etc. (at additional cost). There is room for three passengers in the back and a fourth in the front passenger seat. With plenty of room for your luggage, you can bring along all of your essentials and receive them back once you are at your Wedding Reception. This service will save you money, as it means you will not need to book a separate service.

The local Registry Offices are very popular with Jonathon, and they include; Tamworth Registry Office, Lichfield Registry Office in the Old Library building on Bird Street, and Stafford and Stoke Registry Offices, among others. Oak Farm Hotel in Cannock has room for up to 120 guests for the ceremony and 300 for the Evening Reception. It boasts wonderful gardens to the exterior which is perfect for Wedding Photography, as is The Pavillion at Branston Golf & Country Club, Burton on Trent. Situated in Branston, and set amongst beautiful parkland and a golf course, this venue is ideal to stage you big day. The National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas is just outside Burton and Lichfield and is easily accessible by the A38. They have facilities for you to get married outside, should the weather permit and offer a full array of functions to suit your needs.
The Old Schoolhouse Restaurant in Weeford is just the other side of Lichfield and is next to Tamworth. It has a new marquee and lovely gardens set against a stream with its own unique bridge. Fairlawns Hotel & Spa, Aldridge is very popular too, and offers plenty of greenery and space for your Wedding photographs. Jonathon has worked her many times and knows the venue inside and out.
Swinfen Hall Hotel is situated near Lichfield and is set back from the main roads by its extensive driveway. Lovely scenery and fantastic gardens make this the perfect place to get married in Staffordshire. Your Wedding Photos will look delightful. People often overlook the countries Universities, which is why attention ought to be given to Keele Universityas Weddings there are staged in the fantastic Darwin Building. Again, with exquisite grounds, this makes for a superb venue.
The Old Hall Country House in Madeley, is another venue that offers both inside and outside Weddings. Set under a full length gazebo, your guests can stay dry even if it rains. Slaters Country Inn, Newcastle Under Lyme offers facilities for all occasions, making this a fantastic venue to hold your Wedding. The Ashes, Endon, Stoke on Trent gives you th perfect Wedding room, set in a restored barn building with balcony. Other barns on the estate house the restaurant and other facilities, making this a great place to have your photographs taken. Blakelands Country House, Bobbington, is a very traditional venue with excellent facilities and gardens alike. Choosing this location will really stand out when you show your friends the fantastic storybook soon after the Wedding. Sandon Hall, Nr Stafford is located just 5 miles from Stafford and is one of the areas hidden gems. With a huge stately home set among idyllic grounds, this offers the very best in Wedding venues.
The Haling Dene Centre in Penkridge is a Grade II listed building built in 1841 set in picturesque grounds - ideal for your wedding photographs and a perfect location for the smaller Wedding Party. The Manor House in Cheadle is another great venue for smaller Weddings. It has beautifully kept grounds and contains some rooms in their guesthouse, for thouse of you who like to stay the night. Middleton Hall, Tamworth one of Jonathon’s favourite locations. Only 3 minutes from Tamworth and the M42 J9, it can be hired in full for exclusive use. With several different types of garden, and a grand hall for getting married on a halfway staircase level, it really is a wonderland.
The Bank House Hotel in Uttoxeter offers you a great location for smaller weddings. It focuses on providing a great experience through its fantastic restaurant. The Bass Museum in Burton on Trent is home to the history of the British pint - Carling Black Label. Now referred to as the Coors Visitor Centre, it has a selection of banquet and conference rooms for hire. The Best Western Himley Hotel in Dudley combines stunning grounds with fantastic hill views. It has room for up to 50 wedding guests and 100 in the evening. Packages are available from less than £4,000. The Best Western Manor House Hotel is situated just outside the village of Alsager and provides Wedding ceremonies in its 17th century converted farm house. Still keeping in the Stoke area, the Best Western Stoke on Trent Moat House comprises a stately home with fantastic extensive gardens. Moving over towards the Tamworth and Lichfield area, is the Best Western The George Hotel. Situated on Bird Street, Lichfield, it is a 1 minute walk from Lichfield Registry Office and provides an excellent location for your reception, following the Wedding ceremony at the Registry office and photographs in Stowe Pool Gardens. The Best Western Tillington Hall Hotel has 91 rooms to put your guests up in. it has recently been redecorated for Weddings too, which are catered for in the Royal Suite, the Sandon Suite or Wedgewood Suite. At the Bishton Hall you are greeted by lovely green creeping ivy which covers most of the hall front. The Britannia Stadium in Stoke on Trent is another great choice for all you football enthusiasts. have your Wedding at the Football grounds with its spacious function rooms and themed backdrops for the pictures. The Oak Farm Hotel in Cannock Chase is another great venue with outside Wedding facilities. A purpose built patio area can accommodate around 50 guests, whilst their function rooms can take up to 120 for the ceremony and 300 for the evening reception. That will take a lot of clicking with the camera! If castle Weddings are more your style, then the Caverswall Castle has a lot to offer. Built in 1275, and surrounded by its own lake it also attracts visitors to see its drawbridge and dungeons. The Harecastle Hotel offers a great place to stay for your guests in Stoke on Trent.

More traditionally,Lichfield Cathedral is one of the UKs finest cathedrals and has all the features that you would expect. Within reach of all facilities in Lichfield, it offers you a superb venue to hold your Wedding. Moseley Old Hall in Fordhouses, near Wolverhampton is a 16th century building with some of the best landscaped gardens in the region. With a capacity of up to 62 for the ceremony, this will suit the small to medium wedding.
North Stafford Hotel in Stoke on Trent offers you the complete Wedding venue package. With catering for up to 200 guests throughout the day, and a choice of Wedding rooms, this location can give you everything you will need. Once you arrive, thee is very little need to go off property. Oak Tree Farm in Hopwas, Tamworth, is a delightful family run 5-star hotel with swimming pool and courtyards. The Rudyard Hotel is a three-start venue with gardens and a lake which many married couples like to use as the backdrop for photographs. They can cater for your whole wedding or just the reception, should you require.
Shugborough Estate attracts a lot of Brides and Grooms for its beautiful appearance and landscaped gardens with lake. Forming part of the National Trust and situated in a 900 acre estate, there is more than room to capture your day in all its glory. The Mill at Worston in Great Bridgend, Staffordshire, is a beautiful building with great family atmosphere. With patios and gardens and well finished interiors. Grimstock Country House Hotel in Coleshill offers smaller Weddings and has a nice garden to the front. It is 10 minutes from the NEC and Birmingham Airport. Hatton Village Hall is a lovely venue for traditional Weddings. With on-site facilities for pig-roast functions on the Evenings too. The Hilton Warwick Hotel is 20 minutes away from the Birmingham Airport and features modern interiors for a more up-to-date style to your Wedding.
Holiday Inn Leamington Spa can obviously accommodate all of your guests, with its extensive low cost rooms. It also has easy access by road and can hold your Wedding ceremony and Reception. Another suitable venue is the Honiley Court Hotel in Honiley. Offering a modern style and great family atmosphere. Ingon Manor Hotel Golf and Country Clubis just outside Stratford-on-Avon and near to the RAF Airbase, for thouse aviation fans out there. Lea Marston Hotel, Nr Coleshill, is one of Jonathon’s most popular venues. With a recent upgrade to its interior and sporting a 9-hole golf course, this Wedding venue has a great team of planners and organisers. Longbarn Village just outside Alcester, is a converted set of barns with wonderful courtyards and great marquee. Lord Leycester Hospital is in the heart of ye olde Warwick and supplies some of the prettiest period buildings for your Wedding. Mallory Courtis another location to die for. Situated on the outskirts of Leamington Spa, it has unique and enchanting gardens and lighting to set the Evening Reception alight.
The Manor Hotel Coventry is another great venue, situated in Meriden. It offers great facilities for Asian and Indian Weddings in addition to Civil Services and has close connections to some fantastic Asian catering teams. Market Bosworth Dixie Arms Hotel is popular among those with an interest in local history. With a selection of vaults and cellars which doubled as cells in the old times. The Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel & Country Club is one of the most popular venues in the area and can hold very large weddings with its grand interiors. The external grounds are great too, with a full golf course to keep the Groomsmen entertained.
Marston Farm Hotel is nestled next to the Birmingham Fazeley Canal, and is 5 minutes from the M42 J9 and Drayton Manor Park. With its lovely atmosphere for Weddings and locks just outside, it makes the perfect venue for your Wedding Photography. Overnight accommodation is also very comfortable. Menzies Welcome Hotel in Stratford, is one of the UKs premier locations and you only need to take one look at their website to see for yourself. This venue needs no more introduction. Another great venue is Moxhull Hall in Sutton Coldfield. Moxhull Hall has established itself as one of the areas premier Wedding locations and has all of the elements you need to make your special day. With great grounds for photographs, this is another popular favourite. Nailcote Hall Hotel Coventry’s Tudor styling willl win your heart over every time. This venue has lovely grounds and is one to consider.
The Peacock Hotel Kennilworth provides the perfect location for your Wedding, with access from all of the local major motorways and sports modest gardens for photographs and celebrations in the sun. Ragley Hall is quite similar to Coombe Abbey in Coventry and offers the best in design and style for your Wedding. The Royal Leamington Hotel can hold up to 65 guests for your Civil Ceremony Wedding and is idyllic for your photographs. Salford Hall Hotel is part of the Lords Group of Hotels, all of which offer sophisticated designer interiors and a fantastic Wedding atmosphere.
St. Marys Guildhall in Coventry is situated next to the Cathedral and ruins and is fantastic for Black and White traditional and digital photography. The building has a very high ceiling inside and give wonderful reverb and ambiance to your wedding. The Stourport Manor Hotel has been a great location for Weddings for many years and forms part of the Menzies Hotel Group.
Stratford Manor (QHotels) and Stratford Victoria (QHotels) both offer superb facilities and a very modern style and design. For the more contemporary Wedding, take a look at these two delightful venues. Another popular location is the Studley Castle. Many people love the concept of getting married in a castle and this one is one of the best. Take a look for yourself by following the link. The Ardencote Manor Hotel & Country Club combines a wonderful scene for your special day, but houses a very pretty interior and a fully featured hotel.
The Atherstone Red Lion Hotel is a few minutes from Keylight Photography and houses function rooms and an atrium dining room with air conditioning. The venue is well practiced in hosting Weddings and there are some lovely interiors for great photographs. The Brownsover Hall Hotelin Rugby has been on the Keylight radar for many years. With its extensive estate and well kept gardens and driveways, it isn’t difficult to achieve wonderful Wedding Photography at this location. The Chace Hotel is home to some fantastic interior designs and great staircase in the reception. A recent Wedding photographed by Jonathon at this venue was taken care of inside for all group pictures, as the rain did not let up for a second. This did not matter as the venue is just as picturesque inside as it is out.
The Charlecote Pheasant Hotel is a great choice for your Wedding. Set in an idyllic countryside location, it boasts beautiful grounds and interiors and offers everythin for the soon to be happy couple. The Granary Hotel Shenstone is situated on the outskirts of Worcestershire and gives you the complete Wedding package. Its restaurant also has a 2-Rosette Award. The Grosvenor Hotel (Best Western group) is housed in a 180 year old Georgian building and individually stylled bedrooms.
The Millers Hotel is another local venue to Keylight Photography and offers a simple approach to booking your Wedding venue. Situated near Twycross Zoo, it is in range os local attractions. A real family feel to this place creates the perfect wedding. The Ramada Hotel in Kidderminster is set amongst 20 acres of estate and a 19th century building that shows most of the original restored features today.
Solihull Register Office is a very modern and good looking venue, which can be a little unusual for Registry Offices. It has a nice garden to the front, which makes Wedding Photography very easy. Warwick Register Office is situated in the centre of Warwick, at Shire Hall and is another great location for a simple and straight forward civil ceremony or civil partnership. Rugby Register Office offers quite the same and is set in its own beautifully kept gardens. Great for Wedding Photography on-site. The Atherstone Register Office is situated in the town’s Council Houses and has a lovely garden enclosed inside the walls of the property. It’s location is ideal for easy access and parking. It’s in a name… The The Thistle Hotel Stratford is another great Wedding location and is right next to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Choose this Wedding venue if you are a fan of the historical bard. The Warwick Arms Hotel was born out of a historical coaching inn from the 1600s and comprises a beautifully decorated function room for your Wedding. You could choose the The Weston Hall Hotel another 16th Century manor house set in idyllic estate grounds. This venue will bring out lasting memories for the Bride and Groom and for Jonathon, it is perfect for all of your Wedding Photography.
The White Swan Stratford upon Avon is another great venue which offers stylish interiors and is within reach of Warwick Castle. If you get married here, you will never forget a single part of your day. Take a look at their website to see the excellent decor and rooms. Walton Hall in Wellesbourne is a four-star hotel set in perfect estate grounds and offering lots of choice for where to stage your Wedding Photographs and group shots. There is no limit to the choice of backgrounds for your perfect portraits at this venue. Also, Wellesbourne Watermill offers a lot of history. One of three water mils in the area since the early 1100s. This venue will add extra sparkle to your big day, and offers some beautiful landscapes for your pictures.

Take the Aldridge Compass Suites in Walsall. With its easy access and ample parking facilities, your Wedding Reception is easily catered for here. Plenty of garden room for the group photographs too. The famous Aston Villa Football Club is home to many function rooms and offers superb facilities. There are both indoor and outdoor locations for your Wedding Photographs, along with a tour of the grounds whilst it is empty, giving you the chance to see it in all its glory. A very nice venue for your Birmingham Wedding.
The Best Western Premier Moor Hall Hotel & Spa in Sutton Coldfield offers splendid gardens and views from all sides of the estate. With extensive wedding reception facilities, Moor Hall can cater for your entire Wedding. Jonathon finds Moor Hall to be a fantastic location. The Best Western Westley Hotel in Acocks Green has a similar approach to Weddings. With multiple function rooms with enough size to accommodate large Weddings, it offers the complete wedding day solution. The Birmingham Botanical Gardens in Edgbaston has two main function rooms and obviously boasts a totally unique range of interior and exterior gardens and secret hideaway ponds. This is a very special Wedding venue and Jonathon loves to photograph here as there is so much to see and do. The Birmingham Cathedral situated in Colemore Circus holds a lot of emotion and history. With its resident all male choir, your Wedding is sure to be spectacular at this Birmingham venue. Surrounded by the Circus park, there is ample room for internal and external Wedding Photographs to capture your special day. Birmingham City Football Club is another sporting venue. If you support the team, maybe you could get married in the team colours. Just an idea. Birmingham Marriott Hotel offers a sophisticated combination of excellent Wedding planning and coordination.
Corus Hotel Solihull has a very modern look and feel and offers plenty to do for both the Wedding guests and those who decide to use the accommodation facilities too. The County Ground is a great venue for all those cricket fans out there. Situated in Edgbaston, it puts you in reach of the City Centre. The County Ground boasts a very large capacity and has become very popular with Indian and Asian Weddings in Birmingham.

The Hyatt Regency Birmingham is one of the main buildings on the Birmingham skyline. Famous for its impeccable refinement and quality, with the Hyatt, you cannot go wrong.
